Catcher in the Rye
There is this book which i read which i would like to review about. I never liked to make my blog look like those phony guys who write reviews for the crappy books they read and some artistic movies they watch..trying to wear those magnifying glasses of critcism and in turn making other guys who read their blog feel as if they have some crazy writing skills and yeah throw in some of this vocabulary they have picked up from thesaurus when they have been working their asses off preparing for this another screwed up examination called GRE,nothing in this exam matters other then luck and some nonsense which nobody uses. Hall mark of excellence to enter the world of dreams.
God damn it !! i don't like to praise nor crticize or analyze like those boguses who throw in their opinion just like birds shitting all over the sky and people reacting to such shit..it gives me creeps.
i would certainly like to share the pleasure in identifying oneself with these characters created by the authors,it is just me in most of the cases.I see that every problem one has faced and every mistake one has committed have all been done before and everything is in print and one of the books which strongly makes my assertion true is Catcher in the Rye .No wonder, this book is one of the most banned books in the free world of the west.
I first heard about this book in this song by Billy Joel.It is called "We Didn't start the fire"..there are hundreds of phony websites dedicated to this song all trying to explain what this song is about and what it is not about..I don't like to again say how superb this song is ,but the theme of this song goes like naming all the important personalities and events that have occured after world war II to 1985's and in this song this novel is reffered ,naturally when it is such an important event how could i miss it. I read it and i can say yes it has to be named in one of the important events in this world.
the song has been in #1 position for weeks or month i guess, and i don't like to comment how nice or bad it is..or how billy was not so good in this like in his later or previous songs..there always such bunch of hypocrites to talk about all this unnecessary crap.
I don't care whether you would read this book or don't listen to the song..coz in the end it is whether u want to read or not that matters.I 'd just be the catcher in the rye.
